‘nocturnal ecologies’
To explore the behaviours and movements of moose and deer in Småland’s forests, a motion-activated night vision device (nvd) was set up to quietly observe their nocturnal lives. The images it captures offer a rare glimpse into the rhythms of these animals in their natural habitat, supporting the local hunting community in tracking and studying their behaviour. Through these photographs, we are invited to witness moments of life in the forest that usually unfold unseen—revealing patterns, interactions, and presences that speak to a world beyond human schedules and sight.
